Hahah, thank you so much, Blazey! I got the title from the Sting song "Fields of Gold," but the actual piece was inspired by the music for Cottondragon's contest.

I used a reference picture for the face and eyes, but the body's from memory. And I looked at loads of pictures of wheat.

Oh cool! Sometimes I do that...I start out with a ref but end up only using part of it. I need to use pictures more often.

Using parts of refs is probably best; because you get a good feel for the anatomy but you're just just copying some picture. They really help. xD

Yeah, that's true too. If we were to be extra spiffy, some artists go and get their own reference shots, like at the zoo or the park. I was hoping to do that over break. :D
